The "F" and other color language and swearing should be left for dramatic television and comics that receive the TV-MA with the Language warning. Sports and news is immune and not rated and any swearing or offensive language could result in FCC fines for the station owner.
I am a senior broadcast major at Westminster College. i wasn't sure what i really wanted to do until i got into sports anchoring. but not just anchoring, i love filming sports, doing research about athletic teams, even editing my own highlight tapes. I'm hoping to find an internship next semester and possibly try and get in at ESPN, i have a contact there. Write now I am in a producing role for the sports segment on our news show called Titan Town Sports.
